“It takes a Village…” this quote has been paraphrased many times and truly reflects the reality of the state of Vancouver Chinatown today. This past weekend I got to shoot coverage for one of the most incredible running events that happen in Vancouver. The Lululemon 2013 SeaWheeze Half Marathon is one of the largest half marathon races in Canada and having ran over a dozen half marathons myself, I have to say that Lululemon know how to do it right! From the pre-race events filled with massages, tattoo air-brushing, shopping and of course Yoga, the event is a tremendous testament to the spirit of fitness while having fun. It was capped off with a beautiful Sunset Festival & concert at Stanley Park. I had the privilege of working with some of the most amazing photographers & videographers that day. For us it was like running our own half marathon...getting up early in the morning, running around from one part of the course to the next, and then having to turn around amazing photos within hours after the race finished. Thanks to our incredible production manager Laura, who kept us on schedule, on track, and supported us throughout the day. You are amazing Laura and it was so much fun working with you!
Photos from the day from the photo team can be found on the SeaWheeze Facebook Page.
