Happy first day of Fall! 🍁🍂Nows the time to book in for your fall portrait sessions. We are currently booking sessions after October 10th so contact the studio for scheduling and availability.
Most of us in Vancouver have been basking in a gorgeous week of almost summer-like weather. After a very cloudy Fall & Winter, I must say the sunshine has been terribly missed! Despite the warm weather this week, this is still Spring and with that, our studio has been busy with a flurry of wonderful sessions over the last two months. Whether it was during our portrait sessions in Hong Kong, our Cherry Blossom Sessions in slightly cold but thankfully dry weather, our Engagement sessions and one very special Easter session with Miss Lucy, we cherish the time we can spend with each and every one of our clients. We find it a true blessing to be able to share the joy and connection between the human spirit and cherish these moments with you. Happy Spring!
Brrrrr-it is cold out there! I know, I shouldn't be complaining considering it's only -8C but for Vancouver standards, it's pretty darn chilly! At least it's beautiful out there, reminding me that I forgot to post Stella & Jon's wedding from last winter!
I have known Stella for a very long time...we used to attend the same church and I watched her and her sister Janice grow up. I had the priviledge of photographing Janice's wedding in Hong Kong a few years back and remembered Stella telling me that when she gets married she would definitely hire me as her photographer. Well, she kept her word and that day came during a beautiful sunny winters day last February.
I knew Stella would be stunning to photograph and she did not dissapoint! Doesn't she look gorgeous in her Lazaro gown from Bisou Bridal.
Beautiful bouquet from the Talented Jessica Bloom of Quince Fine Florals
Many Vancouverites woud likely agree with this statement: Winter in Vancouver means a lot of rain. Stella already knew that having a wedding in the dead of winter would likely mean rain so she had bright rain boots for her and her bridesmaids to prepare for the elements. Little did we know it would be a beautiful sunny day in Vancouver that day! We did wind up squeezing some photos of the boots for fun anyways:)
With Winter Weddings, you need to work fast before it gets too cold for your couples so we eventually took things inside for some more photos at the Sutton Place Hotel
