It's moments like this between Anita and her son Eric that just make my heart sing:)
It was 10pm on Monday when I got the email from Roz...."Hi Sandra, I know this is a long shot, but I just have to try as I don't think I'll be comfortable with anyone else...By any chance, would you be able to take photos of Brendan and I this Friday from 6 to 7:30pm?" Roz and I go way back during our days working in the corporate world. Both of us worked in the same department and winded up quitting from our jobs the same month. Over the years we kept in touch with another and I was thrilled to hear she was getting married! After a few email exchanges the pertinent details were set and the location was already picked out. The ceremony would be an elopement with just Roz, Brendan, their babies & their moms. They had already picked out a nice quiet trail in Lynn Canyon for the ceremony and all I had to do was show up and witness this ever so special ceremony. I felt so incredibly privileged to be there! When Roz mentioned 'Babies', I was thinking to myself that I didn't recall her mentioning she had children. But once she clarified I knew she was referring to her two beautiful puppies, Misha & Robbie. They are indeed some of the cutest dogs I have ever seen! Talk about reminding me of stuffed animals here...oh so adorable! When the moms showed up, the ceremony began. That day it rained most of the morning but thankfully stayed dry for the remainder of our time in the forest. What a beautiful backdrop for an intimate ceremony.Having known Roz for so many years makes it ever so special that I played a part in her union with Brendan. Congratulations you two!!
