Christmas is an exciting time for many of us, including here at the studio where we were like busy elves finishing up the last couple of print and album orders before we close for the holidays. This fall we had a very interesting project from one of our clients who was looking for a bit more post production work on her family portraits. She was really looking for more of a juxtaposition to her standard family photos and had always been inspired by work from Mario Testino, a famous fashion photographer. So with a little bit of photoshop magic, we created this stunning art piece for her to enjoy. This project was a labour of love, having to take multiple plates of the same image as well as those of the ducks and geese in order to get this one spot on. She also wanted more reflection on the water as well the background enhanced in color. We are so thrilled with the results and just absolutely love love love the vintage ornate frame we chose to compliment the print! Here's the before and after shots
And the photo, printed on giclee inkjet archival paper to give it a museum-like finish.
