As artists we are constantly pursuing ways to refine our artistic style. So much of what inspires us often comes from within…past and often very personal experiences come to mind. As one evolves, the hope is that what we create draws us closer to who we are and what or who defines us as creative visionaries. For years I have been running two separate photography businesses…Yaletown Wedding Gallery for our wedding work, and Yaletown Photography for my portrait work with corporate & family clients. From the beginning it was kept separate simply for the sake of business positioning and also because the style/approach I was creating in the wedding arena initially looked very different from the rest of my other work. As my artistic style became more defined over the years, I felt now was the right time to make the move and to amalgamate both websites into one, officially rebranding my business as Yaletown Photography. Everything will now be housed under one website and one brand. I guess officially this website could be coined the 'grown up' website as the new look will be a true reflection of my creative & client approach. Excited for this new journey and to reveal a new logo and website next week so stay tuned!!
