We have been so swamped over the past month shooting weddings, family sessions and engagement sessions, we have been a little delinquent with our Blog. We have a lot of catching up to do!
Let's start with Fereshteh & Kouros...
Fereshteh & Kouros live in California and decided to choose Vancouver as a destination to bring all their friends and family together to celebrate their wedding. Planning a wedding when you live out of town can get a little tricky. Thankfully, they had some good friends living in Vancouver who were able to give them some great advice and point them in the right direction (thanks Fariba!). This wedding screamed gorgeous florals, beautiful details and a couple with great taste!
We had the fortunes of photographing the bouquet and all floral arrangements from Hilary Miles.
Fereshteh & Kouros held a traditional Persian Ceremony at the Sutton Place Hotel, one of my favourite hotels to photograph. The couple had spent a lot of time preparing for the significant Persian items needed for their ceremony and many of the items were flown in from California.
Reception was held in the Versaille room at the Sutton Place Hotel.
Probably one of my favourite moments from the wedding was their first dance. The love I saw in this couple's eyes for one another was truly sincere. You could tell they were completely crazy about one another:) It brought me to tears just being there to witness it!
And of course, what's a Persian wedding without dancing!
