We are beyond excited to share with you Margherita & Rob's beautiful silver & white wedding featured on the Wedluxe Blog. It was truly incredible to work with Margherita & Rob. Not only are they gorgeous to photograph but they truly know how to respect & treat those around them. We feel incredibly blessed to have been a part of this wedding day and what an honour it was to party & celebrate with these two and their crazy friends, lol:) Let's just say we will forever remember the 'vibrant' limo bus ride to the reception!! The wedding was beautifully featured on the Wedluxe blog but we're excited to share more lovely moments with you right here:) Of course no Wedluxe feature can ever be the work of just one sole vendor. It takes an incredible team to make the magic happen and we just want to give a hug shout out to some of the amazing team of vendors involved, Aly from Wild Orchid Events, Upright Decor, Granville Island Florist, Ganache Patisserie, Jewelliette Jewellery, and many many more.Truly adored this moment when Rob's niece had her 'princess moment' once Margherita got dressed:)LOVED the silver dresses that the bridesmaids wore. They were beautifully made and had such a wonderful flow to them, we just had to incorporate that into a photo somehow. One of my favourite moments of the wedding was watching and witnessing Margherita and her Dad dance their Father-Daughter dance. A truly emotional moment for Dad:) Very thankful to have been a part of this incredible wedding:) Congratulations to Margherita & Rob for their wedding and their feature on Wedluxe!
What a fantastic kick-off to June! We have been waiting with baited breath to share with you Andrea & Reuben's spectacular wedding up at Grouse Mountain that has just been featured in the recent Spring/Summer issue of Real Wedding Magazine! We are thrilled & honoured to have this fun-loving group of people featured & are sharing with you some additional images from the amazing wedding day. A shout out to the amazing team: Kiri of Lovely Event Co. (wedding planner), Cailyn of Delovely Creative (Decor/Flowers), Mink Make up & Hair (stylists).
Love that magazine:) We couldn't get enough of those beautiful wedding so we're posting more image here to share with you all!
One of our favourite moments was the first look. We chose a private spot on the 4th floor terrace of the Four Seasons Hotel for this private meeting.
I remember meeting Andrea & Reuben via Skype as they were panning their wedding from Chicago. The first thing they told me was how I handled photographing people who felt awkward in front of the camera. From the looks of these laughs & expressions, I can honestly say they didn't need my help at all!We are so thankful to have such an incredibly gifted group of people to celebrate with! And the magazine feature is truly an additional icing on the cake:)
Summer is in full swing here in Vancouver and we realized we've been a bit delinquent with our blog updates, particularly the promise of Part II of our Neighbours theme. So without further adieu, here is Part II of our Neighbours Blog Post. Last post featuring Rick & Jemmy's wedding, which was the neighbourly connection between myself and my next door neighbour Rick. In Part II of our Neighbours blog post, we get the honour of featuring the wedding of Winnie & Ken, a couple who also has a neighbourly connection. You see, Ken & Winnie were actually next door neighbours and that is exactly how they met:) This couple, full of life & hope was such a joy and pleasure to work with. We couldn't have been happier for them and their families and to celebrate this wonderful day with them. Thanks to the amazing team at Wedding Design Studio, who yet again, managed to do an incredible job of not just the floral arrangements but truly transforming the Stanley Park Tea House into a stunning location to celebrate both the ceremony & reception.Winnie wore a stunning gown from Vera Wang. Hair & Make-up from the uber talented Margaret Lai Hair & Make Up.
This beautiful archway created by the WDS team was just perfect for the small wedding with close family & friends, held inside the Stanley Park Teahouse. When I heard the floral arrangements had a bright pink accent color, I was thinking a more tropical floral. But to my surprise I was welcomed with a very different look than expected. The floral arrangements were perfectly suited for the decor of the restaurant. As you can tell, we had a lot of fun shooting all the gorgeous decor:) We also had the honour of photographing Miss Hong Kong 2013, Grace Chan, who was a guest at the wedding and a close friend of Winnie's daughter. And yes, she does look this beautiful in person too:)We had many favourite images from the day, but I have to say this one has to be one of my all time favourites. LOVE these fleeting moments! What an amazing experience to see these two celebrating life and love together and we are just thrilled we had the opportunity to share it with them!
